Why are more and more people following a high protein, low carb diet?

 

High protein, low carb diets have become popular as a means to promote weight loss and retain muscle mass. A low carb diet restricts carbohydrates from things such as sugary foods, bread and pasta. And it is high in protein, healthy fats and vegetables.
